After the slab is weighed, it is heated into a push-type heating furnace. According to the production variety and process, the slab heating temperature is 1100 ° C ~ 1270 ° C. The heated slab is sent to the three-roll roughing mill for rolling through the discharge roller. The slab is rolled 5-7 times on a three-roll roughing mill, and the slab is rolled into an intermediate billet having a thickness of about 25 mm. The rolling stock is sent from the lower rolling line to the upper rolling line by means of a lifting platform.The qualified intermediate blank rolled by the three-roll roughing mill enters the finishing zone through the intermediate roller. The first four flat roll mills in the finishing mill are short-stress rolling mills, and the last four flat-roll mills are closed four-roll high-stiffness rolling mills. The vertical rolling zone is provided with two vertical rollers (including one powerful vertical roller) to realize the function of controlling the width. The finishing mill is equipped with 7 electric loopers. In this way, the intermediate billet is continuously rolled to a finished product in 8 passes on the finishing mill.
The finishing rolling is equipped with an X-ray thickness gauge. In order to ensure good thickness accuracy of the strip, the finishing mill is equipped with a fully functional hydraulic thickness automatic control system (AGC).
The strip rolled from the finishing mill enters the vertical coiler for winding through the feeding equipment such as the feeding roller, the pinch roller, the torsion guide, and the flat transport chain.
